Why We Exist

LayoffLens acts as a neutral observatory to track these resource shifts, offering data-driven insights into where, when, and how workforce changes are taking place.
Our Methodology
We maintain a rigorous data standard to ensure accuracy and prevent speculative inclusions. Every entry in our database is verified against:
- Official SEC and regulatory filings (e.g. Form 8-K disclosures).
- Corporate earning call transcripts and verified executive comments.
- Official corporate press releases and direct media communications.
- Verified journalism from reputable national and financial news outlets.
We exclude generalized restructuring actions unless leadership or communications directly cite artificial intelligence, automation, or the structural pivoting of resources to fund AI capabilities as a key driver.
